Citrus Lane - December 2012

Decembers Citrus Lane box this month did not disappoint! The boxes this month were twice as big as previous months. Basically just to fit the toy! Hoping I can figure out ways to reuse these boxes from the monthly subscriptions.

Green Toys Airplane - $14.99 - Adeline will be getting this for Christmas from Santa. This is our first toy from Green Toys and I'm excited about it!

Pearhead Brag Book - $8.95 - This is the "eh" of the box. I don't really need a little photo book with pictures. I'm thinking about printing off pictures and putting it in my moms stocking on Christmas morning. Grandmas need brag books!

Renee & Jeremy It's a Big World CD - $12.00 - We listen to several different Kids CDs in the car, so having another one in the mix is great. As soon as I played this Adeline started dancing, so this will be a hit!

Madecasse 75% Cocoa Mini Chocolate Bar - $1.50 - Sounds very tasty, but I won't be eating this. I'm giving it to my dad as part of his Christmas! Maybe he'll share with me!

Ecomom Offer - $15 towards anything on the site! Yahoo! I'm waiting until after Christmas to buy I believe since I want to see what all Adeline gets for Christmas and see if we need anything particular.

Overall value for this box is $52.44, more than double the cost of the box! Great value.

Citrus Lane - November Box Review for 12 month Baby

This is our second month with Citrus Lane. The theme for the month was Fun With Food and all of the items definitely matched that theme. All of the items will be used, just wish there was another toy.

Plan Toys Fish Castanets - Set of Two - $10.00 - Noise makers, received two and they are cute - but could have used just one.

Green Eats Set of Four Snack Bowls - $6.99 - These will really come in handy, and better quality than some other brands you find in stores.

Goodbyn Small Meals - $6.49 - Nice container to put in two different type of snacks/meals you don't want mixing. This should fit in my diaper bag pretty well. Unsure if they will leak if liquids are put in them though - not a real good seal.

Plum Organics Training Meals - Oatmeal - $1.49 - We'll try this, but seems pretty runny.

Juice Beauty Nutrient Moisturizer - $9.00 - for Mom - I'll try this as soon as I run out of my usual.

Then you received a 20% off code plus Free Shipping to Tiny Prints. Which to me isn't included in the value of the box as you have to spend money to use it!

Total: Approx. $34 - depending on where you shop of course! And you pay $25 - which appears to be a good value. However other boxes I get have a better cost/value ratio. Really think Citrus Lane could step it up to provide a higher value box for their loyal costumers.

Citrus Lane Box Review - October Box

This month was our first month getting the box from Citrus Lane. I've been wanting to do it for months but didn't want to spend the money! I used a discount code and decided to give it a try. I've been reading blog reviews of previous months and the stuff they got was so cool and not necessarily stuff you would buy yourself.

Not entirely sure what happened this month.

This month was "Fall Fun", but the only thing fallish was the Big Smiles Cheesy Potato by Ella's Kitchen.

 My review of the items in the box:

- Munchkin 7oz Click Lock Trainer Cups $8.99 for 2-pack - I've been wanting to get more sippy cups for Adeline so I was kind of glad to see these, but not thrilled they weren't straws. Adeline loves straws. We tried these today and Adeline couldn't drink out of it! I even tried and I could barely get anything out myself! Hum... So we are not impressed.

- In My Den from Chronicle Books $8.99 - this is a cute Little Bear book where the Bear is a finger puppet. Adeline loves books, so this was a nice addition to the box.

- License to Drool by Bright Starts $2.99 - toy keys...I don't know any kids that do not have these already, so this was a huge disappointment. Especially for an 11 month old! So I guess these will go in my stash for baby shower gifts.

- BabyGanics Healin' Groovy $7.99 - we haven't had a chance to use this yet and since I can't find anyone to say it is Cloth Diaper safe, I won't be using it for that. It can be used for dry skin, burns, ouchies, etc. We'll see, just disapointed not CD safe.

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil Mini $4.99 - For MOM! I will definitly be trying this - something different that I would have never thought to buy. 

Big Smiles Cheesy Potatoes by Ella's Kitchen $2.49 - We practice BLW with Adeline, so she's never had pureed baby food. She did not like this. She tried it several times and I even tried to warm it up - nope! Not saying this is a bad product - just not for my baby since she'd rather eat real potatoes instead of pureed potatoes!
